Dragonfly with Lotus Flowers

Jessica Vaughan hails from a family of artists and designers and can’t remember a time when she wasn’t involved in creating art herself. Jessica graduated from the California College of Art, earning a BFA with High Distinction in textile design and printmaking. Since 2007 she has been creating designs for her successful line of greeting cards which she markets throughout Northern California. She also participates in many annual showcases of artists and makers where she sells her cards, prints and screen printed textiles. Influences include her deep regard for the animal and plant communities near her home, folk art from around the world as well as painters such as Mary Fedden, Pierre Boncompain and many others. Her colorful and whimsical style is uplifting and her attention to detail and design is readily apparent in her work.
