Dizzy 2

Dizzy

Piece description from the artist

Anyone with a coffee table knows the perils of a dog's head or tail. And, as is the case with labs, enthusiasm and manners don’t always go hand in paw. For this shot, I waterproofed a table and the floor – which is always a good idea – and hot glued two champagne flutes to the tabletop. We then called in our model to join the party. Right away, we saw that the glasses were no match for our eager friend and they quickly went flying once the pup tried to get the turkey bacon that was being used for treats. On to Plan B. We removed the glasses and shot “Dizzy” separately. Most labs are one trick ponies, but this lab's expressions ranged from excitement to explosive and gave me a lot to choose from. We then shot the flutes with countless different spills and splashes done by hand, to get just the right flow.
