Born in a small, secluded town in rural America, Colleen developed a fascination with the natural world. This has always been an important focus within her work. Colleen's work mixes the worlds of whimsy, the demure female persona and Mother Nature, with delicate touches of the untamed and grotesque.
Currently, Colleen live and work in New York. Her artwork ranges from pictorial to sculptural and embodies a wide variety of media and purposes. In addition to her personal work and commissions, she is a prop stylist and interior designer in the fashion industry. Props and displays that Colleen has made have graced many windows, sets, and events in the fashion industry. Her artwork can be found in numerous private collections in both the United States and Europe.
