“Diametrically Opposed” explores the tension and beauty in opposition through a dramatic collision of form and color. Fiery orange and deep black clash with a cool, marbled wash of whites and grays, bisected by golden fractures that resemble energy veins or tectonic boundaries. This composition evokes a sense of cosmic or philosophical duality—fire and ice, chaos and clarity, destruction and renewal. The visual contrast is bold yet balanced, creating an emotional push-pull that demands reflection.
Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
