Overlook of Diablo Lake in North Cascades National Park from summit of Thunder Knob trail. This less seen view of the famous lake in Washington State is from an overlook at the summit of the Thunder Knob trail which climbs via endless switchbacks from the lake's edge to this gorgeous view over the mountains and the turquoise waters of the lake itself.
Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of.
