Dia Reflections

Piece description from the artist

Looking at a sculpture created by stacked glass panels, I was intrigued how the background seen through the layers became obfuscated and abstracted. At the same time, I saw a room reflection in the shiny glass. The contrasts intrigued me enough to take a bunch of reference photos that I altered in Photoshop for inspiration to make a series of paintings. The original of this one was acquired for a corporate collection, but reproduction prints of this series are really beautiful.
