A pelagic seahorse makes use of man's refuse by gripping onto a discarded piece of plastic which gives it a bit of buoyancy in the water column. Taken during a blackwater night dive in Balayan Bay, Philippines.
All too often, human waste ends up in the oceans but sea life is resilient, as in the case of this creative little seahorse; floating with the currents with its new man-made companion.
