I painted this piece for a nurse working on the front lines during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was a peaceful spot for her and her family during an otherwise stressful time.
Laura is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. After studying Studio Art at Skidmore College, she began a career in design and painting. Her work is a celebration of femininity, color, and nature, using bright colors to add new life to familiar scenes and objects. Her paintings are hung in various locations throughout New York City and beyond.
