My boss was lecturing me on how spaceships don't have to be aerodynamic because there's no air in space. So out of spite I created a spaceship with 4 sets of wings. Who knows? Maybe it's leaving our atmosphere (it would need wings then) and going to another planet which would have an atmosphere as well, I'm not sure I convinced him.
Marcos Carvalho was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and currently works as a motion graphics designer and illustrator in Maryland. His interests include surfing, reading, hiking, and traveling. Marcos's work illustrative has appeared in the Yale Scientific Review, the State Department's EJ USA, and La Ostra. His artwork has been shown in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Germany, Canada, and the US.
