Day Dreams

"Daydreams" is part of my "Milestone Series." The paintings in this series are the ones where what I visualized for a painting checks off all the boxes. I use the paintings in this series to help influence future paintings. For "Daydreams" I wanted the underpainting to peek through the trees in the background as well as the grasses. I wanted to give appropriate depth to the banks of the marsh. And lastly, I used a new technique in the reflections in the water and was able to capture exactly what I envisioned so check, check, check!
