Dawn Hunter On The Gulf

Before sunrise, a great blue heron moves quietly along the shoreline of Orange Beach, searching for its morning meal along the Gulf Coast. Behind it, the fishing pier stretches into the water as waves roll in from the Gulf of Mexico. As the tide recedes, the water creates foam along the edges, adding soft texture to the coastal scene.

Captured with a slower exposure, the motion of the water creates a soft, flowing effect along the shoreline. Overhead, delicate clouds catch the first light of day, filling the sky with subtle hues of purple, pink, and blue. This quiet moment at dawn offers a serene and beautiful start to the day along Alabama’s scenic coast.
