This painting was made during Super Storm Sandy in the winter of 2012, looking from the early morning Brooklyn rush hour traffic toward the darkened NYC skyline.
Sidonie Caron has worked as a professional artist in Portland for many years. Trained in London at St. Martin's and the Central Schools of Art, she is now represented in many public art collections in Oregon and Washington. Her lush, vivid paintings often feature landscapes, cityscapes and seascapes.
