This black and white image shows the last remains of a dandelion before winter arrives. The name dandelion derives from the French word “dent de lion” meaning lion’s tooth, referring to the coarsely-toothed leaves.
Michael Alan is a New York City based photographer. Michael creates his own assignments as he documents his primarily urban environment in an attempt to freeze the intimate moments which reveal the many colors and feelings that make up the human spirit. Michael's work also includes architectural and cityscape photography, as well as still life.
