Perfect round specimen of dandelion seed head against background of grass and other flowers. I spent a long time in this field of dandelions in an old graveyard in Wales to find both one that was perfect in its shape but also reasonably separated from others in the field.
Steve Heap has been a photographer for over 50 years now (which is frightening to think about!) but in that time he has developed an eye for what would make a striking piece of wall art. Photography is all about the light and his finest attribute is patience! Waiting for the conditions to be just right is the key to making a piece of art that you can be proud of. Of course, luck plays a part, but without that patience of being in the right place at the right time, it just becomes a snapshot. He focuses on capturing images from around the world – timeless shots that reward the viewer with insights as they spend more time with them!
