Piece description from the artist
Crevices is an explorative piece created during an emotional transition in my life. I was in a basement studio in a shared living situation. One evening I came home with a load of art in my arms, and a housemate asked if I'd been out shopping. No, I had been carrying my own paintings home from an exhibit. Crevices was exhibited in "The Art of Abstraction" at Columbia Art Center in the fall of 2018. I was one of three featured artists and sold a number of works. The 3D textured in the painting give it an allure of mystery.
