Early morning on the Costa Brava. The sun is just rising, and the sea reflects the soft colours of the sky. The scene is calm and still, with only a few rocks breaking the surface. Loose brushstrokes and bold colours give the landscape a sense of quiet energy — like the day is about to begin, but hasn't yet. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
