Connecting Nebraska And Iowa

Piece description from the artist

This sunset photo was taken from the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, a 3,000-foot-long footbridge that spans the Missouri River, linking Omaha, Nebraska, and Council Bluffs, Iowa. The golden sun sets beyond downtown Omaha, casting a warm glow across the sky and water. The bridge’s signature snake-like curve adds a striking visual element to the scene. A lone person walking toward the sunset brings life and scale to the moment. Below, the Missouri River mirrors the soft light of dusk. Known for its gentle sway, this suspension-style bridge creates a unique experience for walkers, runners, cyclists, and scooter riders as they cross between two states.
