Colours of a Song

Piece description from the artist

Capturing the essence of music through vibrant hues, "Colours of a Song" by Helen Joynson is an exquisite piece that transcends traditional boundaries. This green abstract painting immerses viewers in a symphony of colors, evoking emotions and sensations akin to listening to their favorite melody. The artist's masterful brushstrokes create a mesmerizing visual composition that seems to dance across the canvas. Shades of emerald, lime, and jade intermingle with hints of teal and chartreuse, forming an enchanting palette reminiscent of lush landscapes or sun-dappled forests. The organic shapes and fluid lines evoke the rhythm and flow found within musical notes. As one gazes upon this artwork, it becomes apparent that Joynson has successfully translated sound into color. Each stroke represents a note played on an invisible instrument; every shade conveys the mood and energy carried by a particular song. It is as if the artist has unlocked a hidden dimension where music manifests itself visually. This print serves as more than just decoration for your walls; it invites you to embark on an auditory journey without actually hearing any sound. It encourages introspection while simultaneously stimulating your senses – like standing at the edge of a serene pond surrounded by harmonious melodies floating through the air. Whether displayed in your living room or personal studio space, "Colours of a Song" will undoubtedly spark conversations about art's ability to transcend its own medium. Its ethereal beauty reminds us that creativity knows no bounds – be it through sight or sound – allowing us to experience music in ways we never thought possible.

Welcome to Helen Joynson Art Heals
Australian Psychic Artist
My journey into art has been truly profound. While I’ve always been drawn to art, I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would become an artist – yet, here I am.

Years ago, during a session with a psychic, I was asked, “Do you ever draw or paint? I can see a large canvas on an easel, painted by you. You should try drawing with a pencil and paper.” I found this very strange but kept an open mind. A couple of months later, I decided to give drawing a try. Armed with a pencil and paper, I began to draw. To my shock, the pencil moved on its own! I was so startled that I threw the pad across the room and didn’t touch it for about two weeks; I even vacuumed around it!

When I returned to the psychic, prior to my appointment, I was told to bring paper and crayons. This marked the beginning of my journey to learn how to receive from another dimension. It started with learning to pick up the correct colour crayon, then to draw on paper. My weekly appointments continued for about 18 months. By then, I was ready to paint, no longer needing assistance to receive from Spirit/Art Guide. Now, when I walk into an art shop, I receive messages from my Art Guide about which colour paints to purchase. When painting, I even get told which brushes to pick up. I can only work in two-hour intervals because working from another dimension drains my energy.

All my designs are unique to our world and are holistic, evoking uplifting emotions. These uplifting emotions can change the vibrations of a room. Through Spirit, I was taught that colour feeds our Spirit/Soul just as food feeds our physical body. The more colour we absorb, the healthier and stronger we become, both in body and spirit. This is why we often find ourselves attracted to the stimulus of colour.

Every design is perfectly balanced, reflecting how we should all live together – in harmony with each other and with the environment. Harmony and serenity are essential in our daily lives, capturing and reflecting on the beauty around us.

My Original Art has been Sold across Australia in Private Collections, Hospital, Medical Centres, University and overseas in the US and Canada.
