Colorful patch

Colorful Patch

Piece description from the artist

Part of my New York City series. A small patch of green holding on in winter in Central Park. I remember there were several sparrows and songbirds fluttering about in this small patch. After chasing the birds for a bit I got bored of failure and decided to capture this less mobile subject. I captured this using a shallow depth of field, keeping the urban bits at bay. Allowing the buildings to bask in the background, creating a good juxtaposition between nature and man.
