Colorful ghost crab

Colorful Ghost Crab

Piece description from the artist

When I painted this Ghost Crab, all I wanted to do is freely experiment with the watercolours and this is how I managed to mix so many colours in one crab illustration. When crabs are in the water they can reflect so many colours and that is what inspired me to create this colourful piece.

About Loredana Obrejea

Bracknell, United Kingdom

Loredana Obrejea is a Spanish illustrator who has been living and working as a self-employed artist in the UK for more than 5 years now.

She paints mostly with watercolors, color pencils, pens, and markers to create beautiful and colorful animal illustrations. But it’s in her nature to be curious and experiment with other techniques and other subjects too.

Her inspiration comes from nature, all the different colors and textures that different animals, insects, birds, and fish have.
She mostly enjoys illustrating the ocean life and all the amazing creatures that live in it.

It’s also in her interest to make other people aware and more conscious of all the amazing creatures that we have on our planet. And also make an impact on the world, by sharing the love and fascination that she has for all fauna.

That’s why she collaborated with different marine conservation institutions like: SharkFest in Bristol, UK, Asia Dive Expo in Singapore, and Bass Strait Maritime Centre in Australia.
