Piece description from the artist
Color Theory is an abstract series where the blending, layering and positioning of color and shape create a culmination of unique pigments, shades, tints and tones. Each piece is linked to a memory of my childhood; memories of oranges, strawberry piñatas, and stained glass church windows.
Pablo Luna was born in Mexico and moved to the United States in 1989. As a child, he was always getting into trouble for drawing on the walls and smashing plates just to hear that glorious sound of glass breaking. He moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to attend photography school where he graduated with honors. Luna's first passion is photography, but he likes to dabble in paint, film, and anything creative.
