I consider what I create to be largely an improvisational process. and this painting is an example of taking simple forms and trying to place them in an interesting harmonic order
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
