Piece description from the artist
A unique angle I captured in this photo with the famous Devils Tower above a red rock cliff in northeastern Wyoming. i was standing below, as the warm morning sunlight illuminated the iconic monolith and cliffside beneath a beautiful partly cloudy sky.
The rugged rock face and scattered pine trees naturally drawi your eyes upward to one of America's most recognizable landmarks. Standing here offered a different perspective than the traditional viewpoints, emphasizing both the height of the tower and the dramatic terrain that surrounds it.
This is located in Devils Tower National Monument. It is approximately 867 feet above its base and is known for its cool vertical columns. Established in 1906 as America's first national monument, it holds deep cultural significance for many Native American tribes and has become an internationally recognized landmark, appearing in films such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
