Piece description from the artist
A distant and close up collage view of some Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwelling ruins in the bold orange rock cliff at Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona, USA. I captured this from Face Rock Overlook. The ruins can be hard to see from this view point. If you look into the crack that runs horizontally through the 1000 ft cliff, you an see them tucked into the alcove. Can you imagine living like this? It makes me wonder how they got up and down. They probably had ropes, but wow! Those are tall cliffs.
