This painting depicts a night winter street before Christmas. This is the same classic plot that we all know from childhood from good books and movies. The kind of story that gives us warmth and coziness. This work, filled with fairytale and magical meanings when wishes come true, is done in bright rich colors to convey the mood and joy of the moment. Much attention was paid to the play of colors and light. Oil, canvas, signed, varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
