For this Chicago Print Collection, I wanted to get into what makes Chicago, Chicago. Walking the streets and hearing the train go by, eating a hot dog at Wrigley, seeing the sailboats on the lake, going to a free zoo in the middle of the city. I really wanted to capture those moments and that one-of-a-kind Chicago energy.
I’m so glad you’re here and thank you for being interested in my art! I’ve been creating all my life – but I truly fell in love with painting when I took my first official class in college, where I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts in graphic design. I became fascinated with color theory and the feeling of putting paint on canvas – so dreamy!
My style can be described as whimsy and expressionist – I love to play with different brushstrokes and vibrant colors.
