Piece description from the artist
This was based off the hill leading up to the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. More specifically, Monument Avenue. I tried to capture the feeling of such a historic neighborhood, in the moments when its dark and cold, and only the locals are out, shoveling their drives. The area silent and devoid of tourists. That kind of silence can truly transform a neighborhood.
