Change of Seasons

Piece description from the artist

For this beautiful scene, I wanted to capture the vast, open serenity of the Montana landscape during a moment of quiet transition. The composition splits the frame to highlight the duality of the American West: the grounded, sun-bleached golden fields of late summer below, and the immense, shifting sky above, where brilliant turquoise tones meet heavy, sweeping white clouds. There is a rhythmic peace in the rolling topography and the faint, sweeping lines etched into the prairie, suggesting the gentle passage of time and the cyclical nature of the earth. This piece is an exploration of spaciousness and light, offering the viewer a breath of fresh air and an invitation to find stillness within a grand, ever-changing horizon.
