Unique features make the chameleon a marvel of nature. Extraordinary ability to change color, independent eye movement, special legs for grasping branches and a lightning-fast tongue for capturing prey. On this canvas of mine, the chameleon is depicted in very bright colors. I tried to make the painting interesting primarily through the combination of colors. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
