Circle of Arches, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC

Piece description from the artist

I used a wide-angle lens to capture the many domes and arches of the Great Hall in the majestic entrance to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Shutter-drag captured the motion of a few of the five million people who visit the museum each year.

About Raymond Haddad

Santa Fe, NM

One day, Raymond started pointing and shooting and quickly got carried away with photography.

He got a sack of gear and hit the streets of his hometown, New York City. Rarely a fly on the wall, Raymond has a way that is central to his work; with a quick hello, he can turn chance encounters into spontaneous portraits. He also photographs events and weddings, wanders the streets to capture candid moments, and produces portrait sessions.

Since moving to the Southwest in 2015, Raymond has expanded his subject matter to include landscapes, storm chasing, and wildlife, with a particular interest in hummingbirds and raptors.
