Fishermen wade beside the waterfall dam at the historic Rockbridge Mill in Rockbridge, Missouri, USA, casting their lines into the clear waters of Spring Creek. Captured with a slight long exposure, the rushing water spilling over the dam wall shows movement. It was a warm autumn day, remarkable for its beauty despite ongoing drought conditions in the Ozarks. Thanks to the spring-fed creek, the flow remains steady and vibrant. Built in 1868, the iconic red mill is the centerpiece of the Rainbow Trout and Game Ranch, which welcomes visitors with a pub, restaurant, and gift shop. Nestled within the Mark Twain National Forest, Rockbridge Mill stands as both a historic treasure and a popular fishing destination.
