Piece description from the artist
The rushing water from a natural spring cascades over the dam creating a waterfall at Mammoth Spring State Park in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, United States. Large rocks rest along the shoreline as the powerful flow moves around them, shaping a peaceful yet dynamic scene.
The largest spring in the world, this incredible spring releases an estimated nine million gallons of water every hour, forming a 10-acre lake before continuing southward as the Spring River, which you see here. This is a well-known Ozark destination for trout fishing and float trips. The surrounding state park covers 62.5 acres, offering visitors a beautiful place to experience this natural wonder up close.
I captured this image during the fall season as the trees were just beginning to show hints of autumn color, adding a warm seasonal touch to the scene.
