A tranquil springtime scene along the Fremont River as it winds through the striking desert landscape of Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey and Fruita, Utah, United States. Muddy water flows between the cliffs and a sandy landscape with grass and desert vegetation. Towering red and orange sandstone cliffs frame the river, their rugged textures glowing in the afternoon light. Fed by seasonal snowmelt from nearby mountains, the Fremont River creates a vibrant ribbon of life through this dramatic canyon setting.
