This photograph captures various evergreen trees near Big Sur on the California coast. My thought in taking this scene was to show the delightful variances in atmosphere from a morning photo than an late afternoon photo. This cyprus grove was almost erased from view by the thick fog beginning at the top of the trees. This mist and fog gave this view an ethereal feeling and a sense of solitude with nature. My hope is that the viewers will immerse themselves into this scene as it can evoke feelings of peace or even meditation. I can see this photo in the healthcare industry to be used as comfort for those waiting for medical assistance.
