Cadaqués is a town in the Alt Emporda comarca, in the province of Girona (Catalonia, Spain) on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean Sea. Famous painter Salvador Dalí often visited Cadaqués and had a home in Port Lligat, a small village on a bay next to the town. Other notable artists, including Pablo Picasso, spent time here. Many artists have used Cadaqués subjects in their works. This is my version. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
