Piece description from the artist
Big, bold orange hoodoos stand out vividly against the forested cliffs and layered rock formations at Ponderosa Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. Captured on a beautiful spring afternoon at an elevation of 8,904 feet, the scene showcases the bold contrast between warm desert tones and the cooler greens of the surrounding landscape.
In the far distance, the pale, cream-colored formations of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument stretch across the horizon. Soft white clouds drift overhead while a light haze settles into the distance, adding depth to this expansive and breathtaking view of the American Southwest.
