Piece description from the artist
What an incredible view from Agua Canyon Overlook at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah! The bold orange limestone hoodoos and towering spires create an unforgettable landscape beneath a beautiful sky filled with fluffy white clouds. On the right, a tall evergreen adds a natural foreground element to the expansive scene.
One of the formations that immediately catches your attention is the flat-topped tower known as “The Hunter.” Look closely at its summit and you can even spot pine trees growing on top! Beyond the canyon formations in the distance, the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is visible through a slight haze.
At an elevation of about 8,800 feet, this overlook provides an incredible vantage point for taking in the colorful rock formations and vast scenery. I love how the combination of vivid orange rock, green evergreens, distant landscapes, and bright clouds captures the beauty of the American Southwest.
