Piece description from the artist
A dramatic black and white photograph of Moshe Safdie's Habitat 67 in Montreal. Raking sunlight creates high-contrast highlights and deep shadows across the cantilevered concrete modules, emphasizing brutalist form and concrete texture.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
