Bollinger Mill Missouri Painterly

Piece description from the artist

The front of the historic Civil War era Bollinger Mill in the Ozarks in Burfordville Missouri, United States, near Cape Girardeau, MO. The sunlight is shining on the orange brick structure. This was taken in early June so the landscape, grass and trees are freshly green. This is a photo I took and turned into a water color painting with a texture look. The original mill was built in 1825 but burned in 1861 by the Union Army during the Civil War. This current 4 story mill was rebuilt and completed in 1867 on the original limestone foundation. It is included in the National Register of Historic Places.
