Bob Kerry Bridge Pink Morning Reflections

I captured this peaceful morning just before sunrise along the Missouri River, where the city lights were still glowing softly and the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge was illuminated in a beautiful pink hue. The gentle reflections shimmered across the slow-moving water, creating a calm and dreamy scene as night transitioned into day.

This iconic pedestrian bridge, Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, connects Omaha and Council Bluffs across the Missouri River. Stretching about 3,000 feet, the uniquely curved cable-stayed design resembles a gentle snake winding over the river.

At night and in the early morning hours, the bridge lights shift through different colors, adding to its striking presence on the skyline. The structure even has a subtle movement to it, which you can feel when someone walks, runs, or rides across it by bike or scooter, adding a quiet sense of life and motion to an otherwise peaceful riverside scene.
