Boating By Kimberling City Bridge

Piece description from the artist

A ski boat glides across the water as it just passed beneath the towering Kimberling City Bridge on a beautiful, partly cloudy summer day. Spanning Table Rock Lake, this scenic spot is a favorite for both locals and visitors enjoying the Ozarks.

Located in Kimberling City, Missouri, the current truss bridge was built in 1957, replacing an earlier 1927 structure that now rests about 100 feet beneath the lake’s surface. Stretching just over a quarter mile, the bridge carries history above and below the waterline. Table Rock Lake itself is a man-made reservoir covering more than 67 square miles across southwestern Missouri and into northwestern Arkansas, offering endless opportunities for boating, fishing, and recreation.
