The blue lotus flower was presented to me in a reiki session and kept showing up in my life afterwards. I was intrigued by it after the session and even more intrigued as I learned the ties it had to ancient Egypt.
This piece started with the words love and connection written on the unprimed canvas – a written affirmation of what I was feeling and needing at the time this piece was created. From there the colors, shapes, and flowers were all intuitively led like my other works of art. I hope you find this as peaceful and connecting as I do.
