Amid the swaying sea oats on Navarre Beach, Florida, USA, a great blue heron braces against the lingering winds of a recent storm. Its sleek feathers ripple as gusts sweep across the shoreline, while the tall grasses offer a natural barrier against the stinging sand. Captured near the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, this scene highlights the heron’s quiet adaptability and the rugged beauty of Florida’s Gulf Coast in the aftermath of a windy storm.
