Piece description from the artist
On a short walk at Three Bridges Park in the Menomonee Valley area of Milwaukee, I shot this amber grass covered hill with the partly cloudy blue sky in the background.
My goal with this image was to capture the contrasting (sometime referred to compementary) colors of the orange of the native plants and blue of the sky in a simple and straightforward way.
Day 158 of my 365 photo a day project.

motion. Mood. Atmosphere. These are the heartbeats of my photography. From sweeping landscapes to intricate still life and captivating macros, my work is a journey – one that reveals my triumphs, struggles, beliefs, and the essence of who I am.
I'm all about spontaneity. I don't stage what I shoot; I let the world around me guide the lens. What catches my eye becomes the canvas for my story.
But the magic doesn't end when I click the shutter. That's just the beginning. I dive deeper, transforming raw images into visual tales. I add textures, enhance contrasts, and sculpt the light and shadows to evoke the emotions I felt in that very moment. It's a process of alchemy, where my heart and mind collaborate to bring my vision to life.
