Bird Watchers

Bird Watchers

Piece description from the artist

I have a small boston whaler that I take out in the Westport river, I love the marsh birds that I see in the summer, especially the egrets, when doing a painting I sit down and draw them from memory, I love to play with and exaggerate the shapes. Once I get a few drawn, I then make up a setting for them to live in, this is truly the most fun part of the painting process.
