Piece description from the artist
Big Buddha #4 is the final of four versions of a shot of the Maha Bodhi Tahtaung Buddha statue, which, depending on how you calculate it, is either the tallest or second-tallest standing Buddha statue in the world. Located just outside of Monywa, Myanmar, this statue is the tallest of many thousands of Buddha statues that make up the Maha Bodhi Tahtaung temple complex. This area is also home to thousands of Bodhi trees, which is the type of tree the Buddha meditated under to attain enlightenment. Mix and match the four differently colored Buddha images to fit the space and colors on your wall!
