Piece description from the artist
My eye has always loved a rich heritage palette of deep rusts, weathered wood tones, and muted greens, and finding this old barn immediately made me fall in love with its hues and authentic time-worn character. In my work, I seek to honor the quiet dignity of rural architecture shaped by decades of wind and weather. The structure's graceful tilt and the wild growth reclaiming its corners speak to the enduring spirit of the frontier and the profound beauty found in things left to time. I admire that, although nature always wins through patience, these old structures wear time well, and their quality craftmanship and strong materials put up a fight to the end in their reclamation to the earth.
