Piece description from the artist
A peaceful early morning scene before sunrise at the historic steam train at the Lamar Train Station in Lamar, Colorado, USA. The vintage Santa Fe locomotive No. 1819, built in 1906, rests quietly beside the depot in the soft blue hour light. Behind the train you can see a windmill and water tank, adding to the old-western charm of this historic railway site. Built in 1907, the depot is now home to the Colorado Visitors Center and local chamber of commerce. This calm moment captures the timeless heritage of Colorado’s railroad history before the day begins.
