Beach grass 3

Beach Grass

Piece description from the artist

Inspired by visits to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and to Pawleys Island South Carolina, this is a painting of the beautiful beaches with their sea oat grasses. Sea oats are used for basket weaving and keep sand dunes from shifting in storms.
Oil and cold wax painting with plant shapes carved into the paint.
