This is a minimalist shot of a the hills on the road to a small town named Irsina, in Basilicata, a region of Southern Italy. This area is characterized by wide open spaces, wild landscapes and green valleys, with very few evidences of human settlements around. This area is more wild compared to other parts of Italy and perfect for a minimalist landscape photography.
Sergio Capuzzimati is an Italian architect and photographer based in Hong Kong.
His architecture background strongly influenced his photography work: through his lenses, he is constantly exploring the infinite scenarios that a city like Hong Kong is able to offer, digging out its soul and its archetypal elements with the use of bold colors and double exposure.
